Kingwood, TX - The Oberata Consulting Tee Ball Blue Jays are playing their best – and worst – ball of the year, continuing their inspiring journey toward an 0-0-14 record.  The no win, no loss, 5-tie record has them neck and neck with, well, every other team in the league.

Sports authority ESPN and other pundits suggest this could be because game officials “aren’t keeping score.”  A full investigation and report are expected by May 1st.

TEAM SPONSOR POSITIVE, GIDDY

In case you missed it, Oberata Consulting made a bold entrepreneurial move last month by sponsoring the Kingwood / Forest Cove Tee Ball Blue Jays franchise.  This daring marketing play, costing “threes-of-hundreds” of dollars, has produced media buzz and exciting exposure for the top tier coaching firm.

“We just can’t believe the hype.  We’ve tripled our capacity, hired 8 new staff members, and are in talks with Boston Consulting Group about collaboration,” says Oberata founder Jeff Timpanaro.

In addition to the boon to the team sponsor, the Blue Jays’ play on the field has been second to none.  Eye-popping stats include:

  1. Crying during the game reduced by 38%
  2. Base-runner tackling improved by 17%, thanks to consistent chop-blocking by shortstop Jack Ellisor
  3. Same-team scrums for ground balls down by 12%
  4. Outfielder handstands in between batters have all but disappeared after some stern coaching
  5. Finally, Timpanaro’s son and first baseman, Guthrie, was actually seen paying attention during a play in the infield

Mix in the perfect spring weather we’ve been having, and you’ve got an ideal family, ball-field, and marketing experience!

A Roster to be Reckoned With!

A Roster to be Reckoned With!

“There’s no saying where this will take us,” ponders Timpanaro.  ”I think the sky’s the limit.”

You have a delightful and refreshing way with words. I’m looking forward to more stories about our Blue Jays. Thank you for your sponsorship.

Thank you Janet! I’m enjoying everything about it . . . except the post-game laundry. JT

        Tide with bleach. . .
That’s what I had to use on white pants and white shirts!
Oh, this brings back so many memories.
        Have fun!

I am Coach Tom Chilicki’s mother-in-law and I think the world of him as a person and a coach. Obviously, I am also Tommy Chilicki’s grandma and he’s the best!!! However, I’ve been a coach a few years ago and this is so on target I can’t believe it. Keep up the laughter, as sometimes that’s all that gets us through the over the top situations!!

LOL – so funny (and accurate!) I especially like the statistic about the reduced number of headstands. Go Jays! Love from Tommy Chilicki’s Sissy.
